Our family astrologer has suggested August 26, 2017 as a good muhurat for gruhapravesh for our family home in California. However, 26 August is a Saturday. Is it still OK to go ahead on Saturday?
I would very much appreciate your reply and advice in this matter.
Bobby,
For Griha Arambha and Griha pravesha the muhurtha is fixed taking your birth star. There is a procedure of calculation which is a seperate part known as Muhurtha Bhaga. The muhurtha bhaga deals with auspicious timings etc to perform certain events.
The astrologers will forecast the events taking into consideration the date of birth, time of birth and place of birth of the native.
Best of Luck
Abhijinmuhurta is most auspicious for everything including Gruhapravesh which is the mid 20 minutes of the day which you can calculate from Sunrise to Sunset.
bobby,
As i am not aware of muhurta bhaga, i enquired with my friend, who is a professional astrologer dealing with muhurthas. He said that there is no vaara dosha.
Good Luck
