You’ve not shared all the details and still seem to be beating around the bush…

Anyways, Udaya Lagna in your husband’s birth-chart is placed in Meena/Pieces Rashi. Lagna Lord Jupiter/Guru-dev is placed in the 8th house of Randra-Sthana and conjunct 6th lord Sun/Ravi in his Neecha-Sthana or sign of debilitation. Moon/Chandra is also placed in his Neecha-Sthana or sign of debilitation. Mars/Kuja, the 2nd lord of Wealth Accumulation and 9th lord of Bhagya-Sthana is placed in the 6th house of Roga-Sthana – more importantly he is positied in the Lunar Constellation of Magha Nakshatra, ruled by Ketu.

Current Maha-Dasha (since December 2012) is 3rd and 8th lord Venus/Shukra. He is not really a benefic for the birth-chart. Incidentally, he is caught in deep Gandanta degrees and is posited in the Lunar Constellation of Mula/Moola Nakshatra, ruled by Ketu. For the records, there is Rashi Parivarthana between 8th and 10th lords Venus/Shukra and Jupiter/Guru-dev (current Antara lord).
