You’ve been married for a good part of 6 years and both of you are around 35 years of age. Please let me/us know if it was a well thought plan to delay family expansion. Anyways, below are a few observations relevant for the stated problem, after a quick review of both the birth-charts:
In your birth-chart:
1. Ascendent or Udaya Lagna is placed in the Zodiac sign of Libra/Tula Rashi. Lagna Lord Venus/Shukra is strongly placed in his Swasthana and Moola-Trikona.
2. Moon/Chandra is the 1oth lord . He is strongly placed in his Swasthana in the Zodia sign of Cancer or Karkataka Rashi. So, you’ve been in the midst of Ashtama-Shani or Saturn/Shani-dev is transiting across the 8th house of natal placement of Moon/Chandra. Further, Moon/Chandra is in close conjunction with Ketu, while being caught in the Ketu-Rahu axis.
3. For the records, 4th & 5th lord Saturn/Shani-dev is Yoga-Karaka. But then, he is below par Vimsopaka Bala in Dasha Varga… as do Mars/Kuja and Ketu.
4. Current Maha-Dasha is that of Badha-Karaka Sun/Ravi, as per Vimsottari Dasha system. He is placed in the 12th house of Vyaya/Losses/Medical or Hospital expenses, where he is neither happy nor comfortable and will be detrimental for related significance. Antara is that of Mercury/Budha. So, this is not the best of time-periods. Incidentally, Mars/Kuja, the 2nd lord of Family Expansion is combust for being in close proximity with Sun/Ravi, while being placed alongside with their depositor Mercury/Budha… who is Vakra or Retrograde. Current transit of Ketu could have precipitated matters.
5. On the sideline, mutual aspect and influence of Saturn/Shani-dev and Mars/Kuja would make it difficult for you to get along with your mother-in-law (in case you live with each other) – not to mention the possibilities of some disharmony.
In your husband’s birth-chart:
1. Ascendent or Udaya Lagna is placed in the Zodiac sign of Cancer or Karkataka Rashi and Lagna Lord Moon/Chandra is placed in the 2nd house. He is placed alongside 5th & 10th lord Mars/Kuja and their depositor Sun/Ravi (all are posited in the Lunar Constellation of Purva-Phalguni Nakshatra, ruled by Badha-Karaka Venus/Shukra). They are caught in the Ketu-Rahu axis
2. Moon/Chandra being placed close to Mrityu Bhaga and within the fatal Trimsamsa degrees (as per Phala Deeepika and Brihat Prajapatyam) is not a good sign.
2. Current Maha-Dasha is that of Rahu (as per Vimsottari Dasha system). He is Chara-Atmakaraka, placed in the 8th house of Randra-Sthana and posited in the Lunar Constellation of Dhanista Nakshatra, ruled by 5th lord Mars/Kuja. Antara is that of Saturn/Shani-dev placed in the 6th house of Roga-Sthana and posited in the Lunar Constellation of Purvashada Nakshatra, ruled by Badha-Karaka Venus/Shukra. So, the influence of Lunar Nodes Rahu-Ketu and Badha-Karaka Venus/Shukra is undeniable.
3. Kalathra-Sthana or 7th house of Spousal Relationship being flanked by two hardcore malefics is perhaps a sign of some stress in relationship with spouse or disharmony.
4. The native will soon start Ashtama-Shani or Saturn/Shani-dev’s transit across natal placement of Moon/Chandra.
In summary, I’m inclined to think there will be some more delay.
