I can only imagine your pain for the loss (and, that too in a small way just cause my imagination also might end up diminishing and distorting reality) … specially an advanced stage, although I’m surprised with medical professionals were not able realize/warn you and/or take preventive actions – with all the advanced technology available at their disposal.
That said, please do not take things lightly with what I’ve called out as potential delay… specially factoring your age and other such considerations. And, it might not hurt for you to consider chanting Santana Gopala Mantra, 108 time on a daily basis.
