The 2nd house of speech is a mute watery sign ruled by Moon which is placed in another mute watery sign. The karaka of speech Mercury is also in the same watery sign which is also its debilitation sign. The 2nd rasi is also aspected by 6th and 11th lord Mars, 7th and 10th lord Jupiter (which is also in its debilitation sign) and 8th and 9th lord Saturn which is also the lord of the nakshatra representing the 2nd house.
In the Navamsa, the 2nd lord Mars is in its debilitation sign and its dispositor Moon is also in its debilitation sign. Lagna lord of Navamsa is also in its debilitation sign.
All the above make speech a difficult proposition for the child. An attempt can be made by increasing the strength of Mercury by wearing a Green Sapphire ring or pendant and playing the Vishnu Sahasra Nama tape daily in the house.
Although the Arogyakaraka Sun is strongly placed in the Rasi chart, periodic monitoring of the child’s health may also be needed.
