The Shani Rahu period is not good and so is the Shani Sade satti, having said that the 8th lord dasha is not strong as Virgo which is the mooltrikona sign for Mercury is in the 11th house. 8th house has Gemini which is not a mooltrikona sign. 8th Dasha of a mooltrikona sign is very strong and gives major problems.
Rest Shani yes will keeping giving some issues and therefore it is better to keep doing the Shani remedies.
