Planets have no religion.Penance is universal.
You can avoid the portion of penance where Hindu
mantras(sacred words) are involved.
YOu can replace Hindu sacred words with Christian
sacred words.
If you think that 6months is long period,
you can practise this method for one month.
If you see any improvement in your body and mind,
then continue for 2 more months.
It is for you to continue or to discontinue the method,
depending on the improvement you feel by following for
one or two months.
