My date of birth is 25/11/1981 place Alwar, Rajasthan time 00:45 hrs.
My Pandit has told my family that i am going through markesh dasha from last 3 months and i have danger of life also for another 2 years
Can you kindly throw some light on this and make it clear to us.

Maraka Dasa is the period when the ruler is having lordship of 2nd and 7th houses in a horoscope. This will be greek and latin to you unless you are proficient in astrology.
Mercury and Saturn are Maraka dasas in your horoscope. Your current period is Saturn’s period which has started in 1999 and will be over in 2018. And you had the sub period of Mercury, another Maraka planet during 2002 to 2004 and nothing happened to you during that time. Is it not? You are still alive. So there is nothing to worry and you will live a long life of a Septuagenarian.

Since January 2015 my venus mahadasha has started and my venus is in 4th house. My family astrologer has suggested to wear Opal in my ring finger to improve strength of venus ,as I am wearing Pukhraj in my Index finger and Moti in my Baby finger.is this combination ok for me??? Any Natives passes through the Markesh Dasha many times in the life, it is not something to be alarmed. Yes the time till April 2016 is not good. You should be careful but not necessarily worried. I mean Careful while driving, and do not take unnecessary risks.
Read Hanuman Chalisa as Hanuman Ji is known to ward off all obstacles and give protection.

His Jupiter Dasa till 2028 is going to be a bit problematic in that he will have to undergo distresses during this period in the form of physical weakness in Hands, shoulders and below the waist particularly the legs. He will however live long and have good potential for earnings. Take special care to avoid accidents etc.

The astrologer is frightening you unnecessarily. Give him some few bucks and he will change it into something better. Your son is now running Mercury Mahadasa and being the lord of second house is a Maraka Dasa from 2015 onwards till 2032. But Maraka dasa need not kill a person, in his case Mercury is weak and therefore he may not do well in studies etc. And perhaps he could have frequent cold, cough and fever etc. giving distress to himself and parents.

2nd and 7th houses from lagna are maraka houses as they are detrimental houses to ayurdaya houses 3 and 8/ But they give marriage or business in the appropriate ages. Hence everyone need not be afraid of death. When a planet is having significations of 2nd and 7th (maraka houses), it should also have connection with badhaka house. And transit also should support maraka. Then only maraka can be predicted.
There are many significations for 2nd and 7th in addition to maraka. In the period of 2 and 7 the father gets gains through service. The mother gets gains from house property.
