Just so you are aware, you are currently in the midst of Mercury/Budha Maha-Dasha. He lords over the 2nd house of Wealth Accumulation and 11th house of Gains. Incidentally, he is placed in his Swasthana and Moola-Trikona in Kanya/Virgo Rashi. Unfortunately, he is in close conjunction with Saturn/Shani-dev.
Current Antara is that of Rahu. He is placed in the 12th house of Vyaya/Losses. And, current planetary transits are not supportive either. So, the opportunity to renovate your house with abundant money in the immediate short/near term is limited.

You’ve got to do whatever you’ve got to do…just that it would make sense for you to be a bit cautious for the current Antara of Rahu could be a bit tricky… although Pratyantara of Venus/Shukra (placed in the 4th house of Homely Comforts in Vrischika/Scorpio Rashi and starting end of September 2023), does seem to indicate some renovation/upgrades to your house.
