Hi,
It is said that the basis of Hindu Astrology is KARMAPHALA and the initial 4+4 years of the child’s life is said to be influenced by the KARMAPHALAS of parents and the subsequent 4 years is influenced by the child’s own previous birth’s KARMASHESHA (residual or pending KARMAPHALAS).
In other words, the Karmic burden of parents is supposed to get passed on to the kid. In the first 4 years, the child is supposed to bear or reap benefits of mother’s Karma. Thereafter, next 4 years (or age till 8 years) the child is supposed to bear or reap benefits of father’s Karma. Subsequent 4 years or till 12 year, the child will bear or reap benefits from his/her own Sanchitha Karma (from past). In my understanding, the Nadis are seen only after 12 years for individual. This probably means their Prarabdha Karma manifests only after 12 years.
Further, it is advised not to assess or share an assessment of a child’s birth-chart…unless there are inherent and obvious health or other such qualifying reasons. Thought I’d share my 2 bits here…for whatever they are worth.
Take care…
