Wearing a gem stone is to be studied whether it is benefic or malefic in the chart, when accurate time of birth, date of birth and place of birth are provided. For Virgo ascendant and Gemini, Mercury is the lord. Mercury may be in any house. If the house may be connected to 6 or 8 or 12. Then the native has to suffer with the evil effects.
Generally for Virgo asc, 10th house (reputation) falls in Gemini. Mercury is the lord of 1st (self) and 10th (reputation). If the stars of Mercury are unoccupied by any planet and Mercury is well placed, then the native can enjoy the good results, such as reputation in the society, high status etc. Otherwise suffers.
