Namaste,
Today while cleaning my home temple accidentally i broke lord shiva idol’s hand.Tomorrow i will keep it in some temple but please tell me what does it mean.Its shravan and i am scared,i am a big devotee of Neelkantha.. tomorrow i will get new idol also. -
Nobody can break the hand of Lord Shiva. The idol is only symbolic and it is subject to wear and tear and you broke the hand only as part of it. Nothing to worry about it and you are not going to be badly affected by that. Anyway you are replacing it with a new hand. Recite Shiva Kavacha while replacing it.
