I have saturn in the 8th house, and it is said that saturn in the 8th gives very bad effects (long term illness, lack of money, and a very bad old age), will these things happen to me? i was born on 1993-27-11, 21:18, in toronto canada.

YOur lagna is Kataka(Cancer).
Your future does not depend on a single planet Sani(Saturn).
Good points-
1.Guru is in fourth house.Very good.
2.Sun and Kuja are in fifth house.Good .But
Sani is seeing them.SO their good effect is
largely reduced.
3.Moon is in 10th house.Good.But Sani is seeing it.
So,good effect reduced.
Saturn in eighth house gives long life.
But for so many other things,it is harmful.
You are advised to do penance for one year

As per bhava Saturn is in the 7th house and owner of 7th, 8th and 9th houses. As Sun and Rahu are in the star of Saturn, they will take care of 7th, 8th and 9th houses. Saturn gives 5th house results as he is in the star of Mars and Mars in 5th house. When the period of Saturn runs, you will enjoy 5th house i.e pleasure, happiness, romance, relief from sickness etc and so many other things.
You have to take bhavas (houses) for results and rasis (signs) to assess the strength of the planet to offer the result.
