There are certain afflictions that could give some indication of such inclination/tendencies. Sharing birth-details to help study the birth-chart would perhaps make sense.

On my part, I’m inclined to think change in Dasha-Bhukti and powerful transits would have some impact to curtail or enhance since feelings/tendencies.
