I am going through a very difficult period in my life. I rented a house in another city to a family many years ago and they stopped paying rent since last year, so I hired a lawyer and they refuse to pay and give back the house to me, they even asked for a supposed “legal protection” claiming they invested in that house breaking the rules of the contract because no investments were authorized. According to my lawyer, since this family decided to run away but still use the house whenever it pleases them, the case might last years. Besides, for five years I worked on a project in a institution that I have not been able to finish, leaving me with a debt, and lately my boss has decided to try to file a lawsuit against me because I, along with other people who have been victims of severe abuse from her, decided to speak out. Other problems include mother’s health, among other details. I do not see an end to any of this and I am very tired.
