The 10th house connection is an indication of something associated with Karma-Sthana or workplace. Likewise, if birth-details are accurate, birth-chart or horoscope is a reflection of the native/individual’s nature. In your case, the affliction stands out… any parent would be a bit hesitant with the outlook/possibility of you messing up relationships and/or your own life.
Given the situation, the onus is on you to convince them and sort things out. From a timing point of view, middle and later part of next year seems to be as good a time as any. But then, you can sort working on sorting things out from the start of 2026. Please consider offering special prayers to Lord Ganesha on a regular basis and seek his blessings to ward of unwanted hurdles/issues, with unwavering faith, bhakti/devotion and a strong Sankalpa.
