Avoid Alcohol: Avoid alcohol as it is not good for pregnant women and for people with certain health conditions. Excessive alcohol can lead to severe health problems so it is best to avoid it during your pregnancy.

Avoid Drugs: Avoid all types of drugs as it can severely harm the child. According to Organization of Teratology Information Services (OTIS), usage of Drugs can increase the risk of baby loss. It can lead to miscarriage and sever pregnancy problems.

Avoid Self Medication: Do not under any condition, self medicate yourself and also do not take any medicine without consulting a medical expert.  Many times some salts can cause reactions and therefore it is best to consult a doctor before taking any medicine.

Eat Healthy Food: Eating healthy food should be your top priority. Apart of having lots of fruits and vegetables include various pregnancy diets that are available.

Take sufficient rest: Pregnancy period can be extremely tiring so avoid exertion and take minimum 8 hours of sleep.

Yoga and Meditation: Along with good sleep, it is also recommended that you do some Yoga and meditation every regularly and include some exercises like strolling daily.
