Namah Shivaya!
I have a 6 year old grandson, who seems to be constantly suffering from some ailment or the other. Has an almost permanent runny nose, cough and cold, suffers from viral fever ever so often, complains of aches in the body.
I am giving his birth details, as under:

I would be highly obliged if any esteemed member cud please suggest any remedial measures to ease or eliminate his suffering -

Your son’s chart has Moon in the 8th house. Only the retrograde Jupiter aspects him. The Lagna lord Sun is in the nakshatra of Moon, is the lord of the nakshatra signifying the cusp of the 6th bhava and is in the company of Mercury which is the nakshatra lord of Moon.
This placement of Moon coupled with the Lagna lord is a Balarishta for which a Chandra shanti should have been done.
Currently, the dasa is of Mercury and after completing the antaras of Rahu and Jupiter, the current antardasa is of Saturn. Jupiter is the lord of the 22nd Drekkana, is in the 8th amsa (from natal lagna) in Navamsa and is the dispositor of Saturn and Moon. Additionally, the child is experiencing the first Sade Sati now and Saturn is currently transiting in the same sign as the natal Moon. Saturn is also the lord of the roga bhava (6th bhava).
A Shanti for Moon, Mercury and Saturn is suggested. Since Mercury also represents the throat area and it is afflicted in many divisional charts, pl also check for any tonsils connected problems.

Your grandson will improve him health in Ketu dasa which runs from 12-9-2026. For immunity we check the 1st cusp sub lord. Here it is Moon in the 8th house. Lagna lord Sun is in the star of Moon. Moon is in the star of Mercury, who is the 6th cusp (sickness) sub lord, in 10th house. Mercury is the significator of 11th house. So the boy has the poor immunity and is prone to common diseases. He will definitely improve his health.
Ketu is in 5th house (recovery from sickness) and conjoined with Saturn and aspected by Venus. They are deemed to be in a conjunction, as all the three are in the same star and sub. Ketu in 5th house and is signifying his star lord Venus and through his sub lord Mercury 11th house. So he will improve his health.
Current period is of Mercury dasa Saturn bhukti and Moon antara upto 11-10-2025. Because of Moon significations, he will suffer to some extent upto 11-10-2025.
Even you perform any remedial measures or not, he will have improvement from 12-9-2026.

Hi,
It looks like the child has very weak immunity and hence the stated issues. Given the situation, it would make sense to ensure the child eats well to build immunity. If not, there is a good chance of the niggling issues turning chronic (easy for me to state. But then, it does look like the child will continue to have have issues).
If I were to take the liberty, I’d encourage you to consider following the guidance provided by respected TKC.
