I have been told that I have strong mangal dosha as I have mars and rahu in 8th house in my birth chart, and my family is concerned that it may delay my marriage or create problems after marriage. However, I have also heard that Mangal Dosha can be cancelled under certain planetary combinations.
Can any experienced Vedic astrologer please analyze whether my Mangal Dosha is fully or partially cancelled? What impact will Rahu and mars have in my life. What effect it will have on my married life.18 sept 1995

Anita ji namaskar I have chance to analyses your kundli.no doubt there is mars in eighth house from lagna with RAHU.In eight house mangel dosha is considered strong mangel doshs.But you note you are manglik from lagna of pieces ascendent.but you are not manglik from moon chart. as from moon mangel mars is in fifth house. no doubt mangel in 8th house give struggle ful life.gives many ups and downs in life. some intelligent astrologers not considered its mangel dosha.in pisces ascendent.it may delayed your marriage but definitely you will get married.some astrologers does not consider it mangel dosha when venus is in 12 th house from rahu. so nothing to worry.you are humble advised to do the kundli matching from expert astrologer so that problem or doubt of this dosha may be removed. your positive point is that Jupiter brahaspati is in 9th house of luck and has fifth aspect o his own house lagna.which will reduce your problems. thanks best of luck.

It is considered strong mangel dosha in 8th house.you are manglik from lagna not from moon chart.your mangel is in 5th house from moon. Mangeldosh in eight house gives ups and downs and delayed in marriage . your lagna is pieces and jupitoraspect 5th aspect in lagna.which reduce the problems.you will definitely get married. you nothing to worry. you are humble advised to do the kundli milan before marriage so that your mangel dosha msy be reduced. your mangel dosha is not so strong as it is 12th from venus.Thanks best of luck.

Time and again in this forum I am giving awareness about the difference of Rasi (sign) and bhava (house). Rasi gives the how a planet has strength to give the result. The matter is given by the houses.
In your case your lagna is in Pisces. 2nd and 3rd houses are in Taurus. 8th and 9th houses are in Scorpio. So Rahu and Mars are in Libra 7th house only, but it is the 8th sign from Pisces. You will enjoy 7th house results only in the period of Rahu and Mars. Rahu is in the star of Mars in 7th house, but it is signifying 6th house through Venus. But 6th house is under the control of Rahu and again 7th house. So with some disturbances your marriage will be celebrated.
Mars is in the star of Rahu in 7th house and signifying 7th house. So Mars has to give you marriage. But Rahu as a node is stronger than Mars to give marriage. Current dasa is of Saturn and bhukti of Rahu, which is from 24-2-2025 to 01-01-2028. In this period your marriage would be over. If Mars is in 7th house it is mangal dosha, but the same Mars conjoined with Rahu will give you marriage. So don’t be panic about this.
7th cusp sub lord Saturn is signifying 8th house and 6th house. But Rahu is the sub lord of 6th and 8th cusps, signifying 7th house. So it is good. But there would be no separation. It is better to match the horoscopes before marriage.

Hey, not sure where you read that you have Mars and Rahu in the 8th house and that it is delaying your marriage! It is true that both Mars and Rahu are krura grahas (cruel/harsh planets) that can bring difficulties to marriage, but look at the dasha or Mahadasha you have been running your current weather is a Saturn 12th house dasha!
Saturn is in its own sign (Aquarius), which is definitely a much better state rather than wandering here and there. But Saturn being Shani Deva will always deliver its natural karaka themes: slowness, delay, and humiliation these are all classic Shani statements. The delay in your marriage is nothing but this 12th house dasha temporarily blocking you to strip away your ego.
• The Timeline: From 1 September 2011, you have been running your Saturn Mahadasha, which will end on 1 September 2030. Once Mercury Mahadasha starts, expect your life to get drastically better post-mid 2030.
• The Sade Sati Impact: You have been in Sade Sati since 4 August 2022. This is precisely why things have felt so hard lately trying to settle down while Sade Sati is active naturally creates Shani’s classic delay and blockage.

Given birth-details seems to place Ascendent or Udaya Lagna in a Cusp/Sandhi, at the extreme edge in the Zodiac sign of Pisces or Meena Rashi and changing over to the Zodiac sign of Aries or Mesha Rashi in less than a minute. So, there is a good chance your birth-time might have been rounded off to the stated time. Given the situation, instead of speculating, it would perhaps make more sense to consider Birth Time Evaluation (BTE) and if need be Birth Time Rectification (BTR), based on validation of real life events/experiences.
That said, you seem to be in the midst of 11th & 12th lord Saturn/Shani-dev’s Maha-Dasha, placed in the 12th house of Vyaya/Losses and probably experiencing a bit of not so good time (for a while – since 2011), after a pretty good or easy time from birth till start of Saturn/Shani-dev’s Maha-Dasha in 2011.
Further, I’d like to draw your attention to the placement of Ketu and Saturn/Shani-dev in a pretty strong Papa-Kartari Yoga around your Ascendent or Udaya Lagna… something that is not really preferable. Secondly, Moon/Chandra being adrift in the middle of nowhere with not much of support on either side of flanks is a cause for concern too.
