Shushila Mohan Balgobin
GuestThese 2 months I have been having issues in my mouth. First I had ulcers on my tongue. Just as that was coming right I found lumps on my cheeks in my mouth. Went to a specialist who said it was my salivary glands that my teeth irritated . I had teeth filed down by dentist, just over a week now. Lumps still there. Is there any issues astrologically causing this? Is it dangerous? What are the remedies ? I also get thoughts that I am dying now. Kindly help

GuestBefore addressing any astrological combinations, please remember that astrology is a supportive framework, not a substitute for medical care. Salivary gland inflammation, irritation from sharp teeth, or oral tissue healing can often take weeks to resolve after a dental filing. If the lumps persist, change in size, or cause pain, your absolute first step must be to follow up with an oral surgeon, ENT specialist, or doctor to get complete medical clarity and peace of mind.
In Vedic Astrology, the 2nd house governs the face, mouth, tongue, teeth, and vocal cords. Mercury (Budha) is the primary Karak (significator) for the tongue, skin, mucous membranes, and nervous system, while Venus (Shukra) rules the throat and salivary glands. When malefic planets like Rahu, Ketu, Mars, or Saturn transit or aspect the 2nd house or afflict Mercury, it often manifests as physical heat, ulcers, sudden inflammation, or irritation in the oral cavity.
Your severe anxiety and thoughts of mortality are a classic sign of an afflicted Moon (Chandra) or Rahu/Ketu influence. The Moon governs the emotional mind and subconscious thoughts. When transit Rahu or Saturn heavily aspects the Moon, it creates sudden panic attacks, hyper-fixation on illnesses, and intense health anxiety. What you are experiencing right now is an emotional storm created by fear, not a literal prediction of danger.
Oral ulcers and salivary gland distress indicate excess internal heat (Pitta). Drink plenty of water and offer water (Arghya) to Surya Bhagwan in the morning.
Chant Om Budhaya Namah: Reciting this simple Mercury mantra daily helps align the energy of speech, the tongue, and the nervous system.
Lord Shiva Worship / Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra: When severe health anxiety or intrusive thoughts take over, worshiping Lord Shiva is the ultimate anchor. Chanting or listening to the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra daily helps eliminate the deep-seated fear of illness and restores psychological peace.
Chandra Mantra: Recite Om Saum Saumaya Namah to calm the Moon and stabilize your emotional state so you don’t overthink every physical sensation.
Pray to Lord Ganesha (Ganpati Bappa) to remove unexpected health friction and clear mental confusion.
Please do not panic. Follow up with your doctor for a proper follow-up scan/examination, do the simple mantras to calm your nervous system.
