You have just started the dasa of Saturn. Saturn is the lordof your 10th house of profession and the 11th house of gains. He is also a badhaka for your chart, is place uncomfortably in the first house. He is retrograde and in his house of debilitation (neecha) with no neecha bhanga. In transit, he is in your 12th house of loss and contributes to Sade sati which will exist for nearly 7 years more. His nakshatra lord is afflicted by Ketu along the Rahu-Ketu axis. Though it occupies the 2nd house in Dasamsa, its dispositor Mars occupies the 9th (12th to 10th) of the same Dasamsa.
Under the above circumstances, wearing a gemstone may not be of much help. Better to take care of your health during the dasa of Saturn.
