The 6th house is the house for court cases. The lord of this house Moon is debilitated in the 10th house and is sitting with the 7th lord (the house of marriage) Sun and Jupiter. The owner of this house is Mars who is exalted in the 12th house of loss and is aspecting the 6th and 7th houses. Mars is also in the nakshatra of Moon. Saturn and Jupiter also aspect the 6th house.
Mars in the 12th constitutes Kuja dosha. I do not know if the girl’s chart also had this dosha or not.
The boy is running the dasa of Moon and the current antara is of Mercury. Mercury as the lord of 5th can give a quick closure to the court case. At the same time as the 8th lord, it can prolong it more. Given that it is in close conjunction with Ketu and sitting in the house of its enemy Mars, it is likely that the latter option will prevail.
