I recently bought a home but astrology wise I’m unable to understand the logic as to why it happened?

1. Bought a Home
The house is independent bunglow, is away from my birth City technically by 20km. I bought in April 2023 but saw this in January 2023 first. And this is on loan ofcourse.
I’m currently running Mercury Mahadasha – Rahu Antardasha from Aug 2022. Under both lagna and D4 chart, rahu isn’t connected to 4th house in any way. So why Mer-Rahu-Jup triggered this?
Could you all please throw a light here?
2. Loss of interest at Job
Second thing I have noticed is that from April 2022 I am not as hardworking now as I was under different antardasha from 2017 to 2022.
I know that ketu Transit is over my 10th house but I am skeptical that a transit can have so much influence alone.
Could you please help me check if there’s anything job / career wise that I can expect ?

You were in the midst of a Raja Yoga (conjunction of 4th lord Mars/Kuja and 9th lord Mercury/Budha in the 10th house of Karma-Sthana) period for a year from August 2021, which could have helped you in most walks of life – including career progression, property acquisition etc. Given Rahu in the mix and the two not being the best of friends would have diluted the Yoga to some extent.
Incidentally, they are still active in the Antara of Rahu – not to mention peak Sade-Sathi effort…perhaps explaining your situation.
