Rahu is in 10th house with your lagna lord Moon. Rahu signifies 4th house and 11th house through his star lord Ketu. Ketu is conjoined with Mars who is the lord of 10th house. You are aware that 10th house deals with Profession. Rahu through his sub lord Mercury signifies 12th, 3rd, 5th house. Mercury is conjoined with Saturn lord of 8th house. Sade Sati: Even Sade Sati starts on 28-03-2025, it would not harm you much, as Saturn period is not operating. Saturn will transit in the star of Saturn. That means troubles through colleagues, sub ordinates etc.

2. When you say Jupiter MD is somewhat better, does it mean it will not be as generally projected ? Many say it is time for bounty and smooth life. Can you please explain this.

First of all I wish you a very Happy New Year and Pongal. Thanks for your greetings and well wishes. As I am out of station, I could not clarify your doubt.

Rahu is in 10th house which is good for everyone to improve his social status and job front. Rahu is conjoined with 1st house lord Moon in 10th. It gives reputation and job. But Rahu is signifying 4th house through his star lord Ketu, and 5th house through his sub lord Mercury, who is the lord of 3rd and 12th houses. 5th house is detrimental to 6th house (day to day attendance), 3rd house  (short distance travel, communications), 12th house (deceipts, disappointment, exertion etc). So Rahu is not good in respect of job. 12th house also denotes pressures from debts and repayments also.

Jupiter lord of 9th house (change of profession) is in 7th house (business house). Jupiter is signifying his star lord Moon in 10th house and sub lord Sun – lord of 2nd house (finance) in 6th house.  Sub lord Sun is signifying Ketu ( a node) connected with 10th lord Mars in 4th house, and also signifying 11th house. So in Jupiter period you will get a job in a business organization in your town or nearby place and earnings will start. That is why Jupiter is better than Rahu period.

From 27-12-2024 Saturn passed into Jupiter star Purvabhadra. So Saturn has to give the results of Jupiter. So in this period you may get some job. You can start independent consultancy without investing money. From 12-5-2025 Venus and Sun antara periods are somewhat good. Things will be diluted.

Rahu dasa Mars bhukti is not good which is upto 27-9-2026. Jupiter period will start from 27-9-2026, which is better than the previous periods. So pray your family deity to give moral strength and good days.

Just so you are aware, current Maha-Dasha lord Rahu is placed in a enemy house in the 10th house of Karma-Sthana in the Zodiac sign of Aries or Mesha Rashi. His depositor Mars/Kuja the 10th lord of Karma-Sthana seems to be at loggerheads (a head-on collision…Graha Yudha or Planetary War) with Ketu. Both are posited in the Lunar Constellation of Swathi Nakshatra, ruled by Rahu. So, both Ketu and Mars/Kuja have been activated in the current Maha-Dasha. Incidentally, Rahu seems to be placed close to Mrityu Bhaga.

To make matters worse, Venus/Shukra is a Badha-Karaka for the birth-chart. He is neither happy nor comfortable being placed in the 6th house of Service. Sun/Ravi the Karaka or significator of elevated professional positions and Venus/Shukra are posited in the Lunar Constellation of Mula/Moola Nakshatra, ruled by Ketu. So, Ketu’s role and influence is undeniable.

Given the situation, it would make sense for you to consider propitiating Ketu-Rahu and strengthening Mars/Kuja.

In my humble opinion, low level of tolerance, anger/temper, unknown fears, wandering/oscillating mindset, few friends/supporters and lonesome life is not helping your cause… specially around your co-workers or colleagues. And, being employed or in Service is not the best option.

That said, it is not that you are/will be good at business… but better than being employed. Upcoming Maha-Dasha of Jupiter/Guru-dev will be better on a comparative note.  It might not be a bad idea for you to consider practicing Yogasana, Pranayama and Meditation.

Thank you very much for your sincere feedback about correct time of birth. First of all let me tell you the importance of accurate time. In our KP method, even 1 sec variation may change the lives, because in our KP astrological parlance, the cuspal sub lord changes. We noticed here in the chart of a popular lady of our locality.

Coming to the point, the positions of the houses change for 15° approx. Your present lagna fell in 20°26’42” in Cancer, which is co-ruled by Moon-Mercury-Venus. Venus tells your nature. Venus is conjoined with Sun and in the star of Ketu in 3rd house. Ketu is conjoined with Mars. Venus is a planet of beauty and peace. Sun is for nobility, Ketu is for uncompromising. Mars is for independent thinking. So you would be very pleasant and have uncompromising and independent thinking  You would not stoop to mean levels.

Regarding your job: Rahu is the 10th cusp (profession) sub lord and is in 9th house (detriment to profession and independent line). Rahu is in the star of Ketu who conjoined with Mars (10th house lord)  in 3rd house.  Rahu is in the sub of Mercury (lord of 12th house (expenditure, exertion etc) and 3rd house (nearby places, short distance). As you asked regarding Jupiter which starts from 8-7-2026, it is quite good and satisfactory. Jupiter is in 7th house (business organisation or other that deals with customers) in the star of Moon who is in 10th house. Moon is your lagna lord. So you will get a job and have social status. Jupiter is in the sub of Sun (lord of 2nd – finances) in 5th house conjoined with Venus (lord of 11th house – fulfilment of desires). 5th house deals with children. Sun deals with doctors or Government. Mars deals with authority, planning, construction or drawings. So in Jupiter period you may get a supervisory job in any reputed hospitals. It may be chemicals factory that deals with children products. I assumed two jobs that have struck to my mind.

Jupiter period is far better than Rahu period.
