I’ve had a chance to cast your birth-chart and spend some time to observe/understand the planetary disposition in the context of your query. On my part, I’m inclined to think you’ve barely finished a tough few years of Ketu Maha-Dasha (not to mention the onset of Sade-Sathi or Saturn/Shani-dev’s transit across natal placement of Moon/Chandra).. and perhaps not done very well (at least not as well as you could have or would liked to have) at academics or otherwise and hence your query.

Currently, you are still in the peak phase of Sade-Sathi… and switched Maha-Dasha to that of 2nd & 9th lord Venus/Shukra a couple of months back (as per Vimsottari Dasha system). Venus/Shukra is placed in the 10th house of Karma-Sthana. He is conjunct Jupiter/Guru-dev and Rahu… activating them – not to mention Saturn/Shani-dev, his guest in the Zodiac sign of Taurus or Vrishaba Rashi.

Given the situation, I’m inclined to think you have limited yogas for a Government job. Jupiter/Guru-dev seems to be placed close to Mrityu Bhaga and within the fatal Trimsamsa degrees… not to mention his strong association with Rahu may not be a good sign in general and perhaps a hint of finance/monetary areas not being the best choice. Rahu in the 10th house is an indication of something associated to computers or something unconventional.

Given the current situation, it would perhaps help for you to chant simple Saturn/Shani-dev mantras to overcome unwanted stress/tension etc. and offering special prayers to Goddess Maha-Lakshmi on a regular basis will help your cause.
