GuestIf marriages are believed to be ‘made in heaven,’ why do so many end in divorce? What are the major astrological reasons couples divorce, even when they once felt they had found their soulmate?

GuestReasons for such events can be many. At the basic level, they indicate that one or both the partners are unable to adjust to living together. This can be due to circumstances, economics, behaviours, environments or simply individual whims and egos.

GuestHi,
In my humble opinion, Karma and Runanubandha play a significant role in bringing together and separation of two individuals (souls). If they are destined to come together and compliment each other or bring joy / happiness to each other (and their extended families), they will do as such. On the other side of the spectrum, if they are destined to make each other’s life (as also their extended families) difficult, they will do as such… they need not necessarily be bad or evil at heart.
On a similar note, children give so much of joy / happiness (during early formative year with their cute and charming ways. Later with their achievements etc.) and unbearable pain (for various reasons… and one would be with an untimely death) to parents. Some are born with deformities / anomalies and end-up being a burden to their parents / families for a lifetime. In some cases, they achieve / accomplish and give immense joy and happiness to (in some cases even to careless) parents. Hence, my understanding that we are all driven by our individual / collective Karma and Runanubandha.
On the sidelines, relationship and individuals mind are generally fragile in nature. Often times, they are unable to bear with and manage the stress… specially so during trying, testing times. Many a relationship will last forever, if only folk were to be patient and wade through troubled waters for a wee bit longer. Often times, things take a nasty turn due to excessive ego, false sense of pride, very low level of tolerance (even for silly / simple things). One could go on and on…so, I’d suggest that we learn to reflect back and learn.
It is not without reason that the 7th house of Kalathra-Sthana is placed between 2 dusthanas – the 6th and 8th houses. So, a couple should have earned enough credits in their past lives or should simply look forward to learn on the ‘GO’.
Take care…
