The delay is obvious… thankfully, it does not seem to be a case of complete denial for there is a window of opportunity. Undue and excess delay could push the situation towards denial.

Current Maha-Dasha is that of Uccha or exalted Jupiter/Guru-dev. He has activated the Lunar Nodes (Rahu by virtue of his placement in the Zodiac sign of Sagittarius or Dhanur Rashi and Ketu by virtue of being posited in the Lunar Constellation of Punarvasu Nakshatra, both ruled by Jupiter/Guru-dev). In my humble opinion, both of them are not benevolent for materialistic aspects.

Jupiter/Guru-dev on his part seems to be bent on ensuring you are dharmic and conventional, while Rahu is not really comfortable being placed in the 9th house of Dharma/Bhagya-Sthana. He is probably inducing some fascination for unconventional/foreign related things – including relationships. So, a good understanding of your cultural/Kula/family upbringing needs to be factored in.

Further, Ketu being conjunct your Lagna Lord Mars/Kuja is an indication of hurdles/roadblocks and Vignas. To make matters worse, Mars/Kuja has below par Shadbala and Vimsopaka Bala (in Dasha Varga).
