That is definitely more sensible than Hanuman Chalisa who was against marriages who remained a chronic bachelor in life. Reciting ShivaKavacha would be more appropriate since Hanuman was a prototype of Lord Shiva to aid Lord Rama in His efforts to kill Ravana.
