Venus, Kethu and Saturn are benefics in the horoscope, but Mars is a malefic. Being a Manglik is not such a bad thing. In fact Mars in the 7th indicate increased sexual potency and this could sometimes be incompatible with a person who has less interest in such matters which in the olden days could lead to dystrophy or tuberculosis. Modern medicines can easily overcome such situations. In fact the fearsome attributes of being a Manglik are ill founded and it is only a myth or misconception in Astrology promoted by astrologers who are not well initiated into the essence of astrology.

To establish compatibility between horoscopes, it is not sufficient to consider only the Moon’s position which is indicated by the stars and these stars are used for Guna Milan and that only constitutes 1/9 of what really should be looked into.
