Speech delay

Hi – please help me with your insight. My 4.5 year old son has speech delay and separation anxiety. He is very smart with numbers and letters and has always been and reads 4-5 letter words already. However, he is very delayed with speaking and social interaction. As if the words get stuck in his throat 🙁 he sees a speech therapist but he is not very fond of anyone but family.
